7E

Electric Guitar

The 7E is not just an electric guitar, but more accurately, an electric/acoustic archtop guitar hybrid. The top is an A-braced hand-carved arched top, in maple or spruce, mounted on a chambered mahogany back . The acoustically active area of the top is maximized between the elegant Edge ports. Bridge is a single piece of ebony with a compensated bone saddle -- the string action is adjusted with the necks Tilt control. The top is loaded only by the string tension (and possibly a tremelo tailpiece) as the pickups are mounted to the center block of the back . All this means the guitar acts like an acoustic archtop, in how it responds to the fingers and the pick, and in turn how the player responds to the guitar .. and then you get to plug it in!

Scale, string spacings, and action dimensions are set to standard or preference.
...and of course, pickups, tailpiece, paint colours, wiring configuratrions, etc., are all up to you.
